Questions
What does a metro cover?
A metro is a whole metro area as the census draws it: a city with the suburbs and towns around it. Your subscription opens every 1–4 unit listing we screen there, with its deal page and full numbers, plus saved searches and the daily email.
You can pick a metro we don't cover yet. We set it up after you start; that usually takes under an hour and can take up to a day.
Add as many metros as you like. Each is its own monthly subscription that you can cancel on its own.
How does the free trial work?
7-day free trial for your first metro, then $29/mo per metro. Card required. One trial per person. Cancel anytime online.
The trial ends at noon Eastern time on the date we show you before you start, and we email you a reminder about 3 to 4 days before it ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. If you don't, the first charge comes that day, then once a month until you cancel, unless we end the trial without a charge, as below.
If your metro isn't set up yet when you start, we add a day to your trial, and while it still isn't ready we push the trial's end out, by up to 14 extra days. If it still isn't ready when those extra days are used up, the trial ends at its end without any charge and doesn't become a paid subscription.
If we can't send the email confirming your trial, or the reminder before it ends, in time, we move the trial's end out, within the same 14 extra days, and email you the new end. If they still haven't gone out when those days are used up, the trial ends at its end without any charge and doesn't become a paid subscription.
Do I need a card for the trial?
Yes. To start the trial, type in a credit or debit card at checkout: Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link can't start a trial. That's how we keep to one trial per person. We don't charge the card during the trial, and not at all if you cancel before the trial ends. Your bank may show a brief check of the card when you start; that isn't a charge.
Your card goes straight to Stripe, our payment processor, on its own checkout page. We never see or store the full card number.
Can I have more than one free trial?
No. There's one free trial per person, for your first metro. We check the account, the card and the email address: if any of them has had a trial, or we can't check the card, we cancel the new one right away without charging you, and you can subscribe without one.
Your free trial covers your first metro; more metros start right away. Each one opens when you add it, and its first charge comes at noon Eastern time on the date we show you before you subscribe (that day or the next).
A metro you've had free access to counts as your first, and free access uses up your free trial: if you've had free access, your subscriptions start without a free trial and without the free look.
Will my price change?
No. A price change applies to new subscriptions only: yours keeps the price it started at for as long as it stays active. A free trial turns into a subscription at the price we showed you when you started it.
If you cancel and subscribe again later, the new subscription costs the price at that time, and so does each metro you add.
How do I cancel?
Online, any time: Account & billing → Cancel subscription. Each metro has its own button (“Cancel trial” during a trial).
Or email hello@netspositive.com, or reply to any of our billing emails. An emailed cancellation takes effect when it reaches us; if we charge you after that, we refund that charge in full.
Cancel before your trial ends and you pay nothing. After that, cancel any time before a billing date to stop that charge. You keep the metro until your trial or the month you paid for ends; if a payment has failed, cancelling ends it right away. So does cancelling before a month's charge has gone through, such as the first charge of a metro you add: nothing is charged for it.
Do you give refunds?
You keep access until the end of the month you paid for; we don't refund partial months unless the law requires.
We refund a charge in full if it was our mistake, or if it came after your cancellation reached us, online or by email. If we stop covering a metro you pay for, we cancel it and refund the unused part of the month.
Do you charge sales tax?
No. We don't collect sales tax today, so you pay the price shown. If that changes, we'll email you 14 to 30 days before, and you can cancel first.
